Fits like a champ - performance parts and accessories

Factory flange on my 2001 Ranger rusted to pieces. I sanded down what was left and screwed it in place. Combined with a lead seal and two spring fittings, my repair has held up flawlessly for almost a year.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Running speed

For 2 " pipe in flange

This "repair" flange is for 2" pipe. Returned this one and bought the 36130 which definitely fits a 2.5" pipe. Read the description and rating carefully before you buy which size you need. Appears to be well built

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some defects

Walker 36132 is 2.5 " in diameter

So this flange 36132 appears to be for a 2.5" exhaust pipe and not the 2" exhaust some people mention here . Image attached for clarification. about 2.25" minimum to 2.5" on the flared side of the flange. Doesn't fit my 2" exhaust, otherwise looks like a solid kit.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • There are errors

Does not match image

I didn't like that the picture shows a cast part cut in half, even though the part supplied is a stamped steel part with wings welded on and cut in half. The two halves I received aren't even from the same piece so they don't match well. The part also doesn't have a 2" ID, it's larger and doesn't pinch the pipe. If I hadn't welded the old flange it wouldn't have worked.

Pros
  • . Everything great!
Cons
  • There are problems

Worked well, poor workmanship

Used on a 2002 Ford Ranger to repair an exhaust flange converter. It worked well. It is necessary to start and slowly tighten all fasteners. The exhaust pipe bolts were barely long enough to get started. Do yourself a favor and get fresh fasteners for everything. The quality of the welds on the part was poor. If I had bought these locally I would have returned them for another one (see photo). So far it has held up.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Two different products?

So I just opened the box and can't say anything about the quality and use of the flanges. As you can see in the photo I managed to get two different flanges, one looks like the product in someone else's photos, the other looks like someone welded their own bolts and cut them in two with a cutting wheel cut in half. And one of the flanges is two inches, the other almost two and a half, and they came in different packaging? Either there was a mix-up or Walker has serious quality control issues.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Arrived more than advertised and doesn't fit.

This piece that got to me is too big for a 2" pipe. As I've now noticed, other reviewers also state that this is the minimum for a 2.25" pipe, but seems better for an even larger size. And I don't understand why there is no size information in the listing description. The manufacturer states in the comments to the review that it fits 2.0" so I gave up. But the part doesn't clamp nearly as small. Now I have little time to travel and I'll have to change the fitment either question with more metal

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

A good solution for a rusty flange.

Excellent economical method of repairing a rusted flange. A loud exhaust noise let me know that I had an exhaust leak at the rear end of the tuned pipe on my 01 Maxima. At first I wanted to replace the entire resonator assembly, but when I got under the car and took a closer look, the resonator and plumbing were intact. This is the original stainless steel pipe that came with the car. Good material and not on a whim in favor of cheap recycled material that will rust in 2 years. Only the flange…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
