Simple, solid and efficient.

I use them on a 2001 F250 with a 7.3 liter diesel. 10 mins. They're solid, easy to turn and could handle the high and low range on some rough 4 wheel trails this past weekend. Back on the sidewalk, I unlocked it by hand and pulled onto the freeway.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent quality hubs

Excellent quality hubs. Giving it 4 stars because I had to call and alert for an extra set of locking rings for both sides. They fit loosely unless you use 2 of each instead of 1 in the set. Installation was still very easy and Warne sent additional rings free of charge with no problem. Also, the truck was a 1999 F350 Super Duty Gas and one would assume that all 1999-2004 heavy duty trucks would have the same problem.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Modern

The dials are a little hard to turn and you rotate 270 degrees - but the installation was easy and i'm very happy to know for sure i'm locked in 4x4 or definitely blocked. They walked into a 2002 F350 on a cattle ranch - we fight trucks and the OEM hubs always fail while the Warn hubs always last and especially when we have to have 4 wheels we get 4-. Steering wheel!

Pros
  • Best in my niche
Cons
  • Replacement availability

Excellent hubs. You get what you pay for.

I have tried to repair my stock hubs but to no avail. The plastic pieces just didn't hold together. These WARN hubs are well built. Much heavier than OEM. I installed both in less than 30 minutes and anyone can do it themselves. I would give the locking ring a slight kink at the top for easy removal if needed. They're a little difficult to rotate as you have to rotate almost 360 degrees, but when they're locked you know they're locked and they look great.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • No instructions

and everything would be fine. He was right

At first glance the Warn Premium hubs do not match the original manual hubs on my 2000 F350. One of the reasons for this was that I thought I would keep the original wheel bolt caps. Hub Warn is shorter. The expert told me to just get in, follow the instructions and everything will be fine. He was right. Ten minutes later, both new hubs were installed and working as they should. Rivet caps are no longer used. The stud farms remain open, in the old-school 1970s style. I am very happy.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are problems

So far these wonderful hubs. Warn Industries is stuck in the 70's. These are quality hubs but the instructions are TERRIBLE! Warne needs to stop selling a premium hub with a "cheat sheet" created decades ago. They only serve to confuse things with the simplest upgrade you can make to your truck. Either don't include instructions or take the hour it takes to update the dumb paper that comes in the damn box. One star off for resting on our laurels and one star for callous disregard for the end…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • A few small things

Don't be afraid of the instructions.

Check out some YouTube videos on how to do this. I have a 2001 F250 diesel truck. It took me longer to find an Allen wrench, a rubber mallet, and needle nose pliers, then I had to replace both sides. An advice. save my life Some of the instructions I read didn't say anything about jacking up the front end. What I noticed when I couldn't install the new hubs was that my axle seemed to be slightly twisted where the hub was trying to bottom out. He took a jack, lifted the car slightly. The tire…

Incredibly easy to install - works great

Installed on my F350 2004 4WD SRW (less than 30 minutes on a snowy cold night) Everything needed to replace the OEM car hubs was in the box. (Except for the Allen key) I added a SMALL piece of grease to the axle and hub bolts to prevent corrosion. The instructions weren't very good so here they are: Remove the trim ring Use pliers or fingers to remove the OEM retaining ring Pull the old hub out Insert the new hub core with the single retaining screw facing out ( it stays in place) Use the large

Easy install and flawless operation

Perfect upgrade for our 2004 F250 Powerstroke Truck. Factory vacuum hubs are difficult for me to keep in working condition. A number of things can cause failure including the solenoid, seals etc. These premium bushings are simple and dependable. The big difference is that my 4WD actually works now. Attempted to take tight corners in 4WD and experienced the appropriate jump/stick feel associated with having the front and rear axles fighting each other after locking the hubs and switching to 4WD…
