Affordable class paper

Affordable price for watercolor lovers. I love Arches but will use lower quality paper for study or practice. This paper is perfect for that. The paper was slightly torn when removing the masking tape. With good paper, that never happens (at least it never happened to me).

  • Special offer
Cons

The quality is good but there is a nuance

In general the pillow is of very good quality. The thickness and saturation of the water is quite good for its price level. The only small problem is that they are difficult to separate. But thanks to the small plastic blade, my little one quickly learned how to do it. In a word, I am satisfied with this product.

  • New to my collection

Great paper thickness BUT hard to tear off

I finally figured out what that arrowhead-like piece of plastic (wrapped on the back of one of the blocks) is for peeling paper sheet by sheet off all four edges. glued together. Wow! This took a while as I wanted to use multiple sheets at once. It would be great for travel as the edges will be protected.

  • Good thing
Cons

Amazing value for money!

This paper is cellulose but behaves like (cheap) cotton. Blends (quite well), holds up to multiple washes, especially because it's already stretched, stays moist longer than other pulp counterparts, and retains vibrant colors. The color lightening isn't great, but I'm not that experienced either, so please take it with a grain of salt. Will definitely buy again!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent

BEST budget watercolor paper

Surprisingly good paper, for its quality even without considering the unbeatable price. This is the bottom paper in the first photo. The middle is Arches cold press and the top is cheap Canson-like watercolor paper. Color spreads well when wet, slightly worse than Arches, and stays vibrant when dry, maybe even better than Arches. Slightly thinner than Arches. Nice texture, pleasant to touch and feel. The pad is a bonus, save yourself the hassle of sticking paper. In my collection it takes…

Terrible design, useless instructions

I was looking for quality watercolor paper. I was looking for thick paper and acid free. Thought I'd give it a try even though there weren't any reviews for it. Spring. Big mistake. All sides are glued and instructions for this are useless. It took me about 10 minutes to notice that there is about an inch of unglued space at the top that you insert a plastic knife (that came with the paper) and "free" the glue on all sides of the block " can cut. it. Piece of paper from the rest of the…

My new favorite practice paper

UPDATE: I still love this paper. EVERYONE WANTS the spiral bound version or the smaller block versions! Please watch out Ohuhu! ORIGINAL: I finally found a pattern that I LOVE so much. This paper is excellent for drawing, pulp or not. It feels great and has just the right texture for me. I love Bee watercolor magazines but they always sell out so they end up on the precious list. This paper is priced right, a pad instead of a notepad, and comes with a removal tool and instructions for it. The…
