Damn good for stable supplies

I use this inside or outside my horse trailer and sometimes in the stable. Holds up well. My horse prefers this over the standard net because it can actually grab the hay. I like it because it's easy to download. He's not a super aggressive eater. Decent quality for the money

Pros
  • Outstanding design
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Couldn't stand my pigs!

I bought these for my goats and they worked great until my pig decided to rip them off and tear them apart! You can't stand pigs! They've been knocked down before and my goats have peed on them. I have a feeling it had more to do with the hook my husband was using than the bag. All in all a great hay sack if you don't have pigs!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Don't waste money! Won't last.

The net detaches from the material with very little force. Now I have to buy 4 new bags from another manufacturer hoping they will last longer than those crappy things. Our show sheep blew them up like nothing, and they hung just above their eye level, fell apart anyway and can't be fixed.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Good bag for hay if not for the net.

I love everything about this hay sack except the net. If I had read the description I would have known, but I didn't and the grille is not visible in the picture. If you try to pack a sack of hay in your car or in the trunk of your trailer, fine particles of hay end up everywhere. I need a second one, but I'll look for a durable one.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Damaged

I do not recommend

I liked the hay bags, first bought for a trailer and then used in a mini stable. I bought the first two, a last one about 4 days when the grille completely broke out of the ground. Used the second every other day when the same thing happened. I've had horses for a while so I understand things don't always hold up but for a very light mini kit I'm very disappointed I don't have two of these for over a week for both :(

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good, but. in stable supplies

This product is good but easy to improve. I use it to feed our horses when hitched to a trailer. First, the entry hole can be an inch or two higher so the alfalfa leaves stay inside when the horses pull out the hay. Secondly, a clip could be fitted at the back to tie the sack shut so the horse does not twist the sack when pulling out the hay. I did include a strap to attach the bag to the trailer but that's secondary, just a label because when I bought a similar bag 20 years ago it came withโ€ฆ

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • problems

Very pretty, the color hurricane blue is nicer and a bit deeper than the picture. Seems well done. You can't tell from the photo, but the bottom, sides, and bottom half of the back are mesh. Works well and is less of a hassle to fill than cheap woven rope hay bags. No rips or torn seams. I assume it has a normal lifespan, I just needed a new one because my stuff always mysteriously disappears in the stable. I doubt I've ever been inclined to wash it, but if I do I'll update the review on how it

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

It is very well made

It is very well made and even withstands chewing on my rabbits but I have a rabbit that is very adventurous and manages to eat some hay and make a hole, then climbing into a bag and freaking out because she has no idea how to get out so she starts screaming. (I don't know if you've ever heard a rabbit scream but it's very disturbing) and then her boyfriend goes mad and starts roaming the room while one of her daughters tries to save her and the other keeps going eating the hay she carriedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • old

Absolutely perfect - updated - almost perfect

This hay net is exactly what I was hoping for! It's perfect for my new peanut horse! I plan to embroider her name too! Used it to bring her home this weekend. an unknown amount of time between nightfall and the next morning. If you use this make sure your horse is not very athletic or if so the hay net is very far away as they could get into an accident. The mesh itself detached from the strongest part of the bag, but the fabric didn't tear. The fabric stayed untouched and held my horses legsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Hard to say
