The best scissors!

I rarely write reviews but these shears are truly phenomenal. Who would have thought that one pair of scissors could be so different from the other 🤷‍♀️

Sticky Blade - Craft Supplies

Love this brand and have other sizes. This item is difficult to open because the blades stick together and are difficult to open. There is no substance on the blades so I'm not sure what the problem is. Very unfortunate as I can't return as I don't have a car and live in a nursing home.

Pros
  • Great Overall

Blade has burrs for cutting tools

Blade arrived damaged. It was like using scissors in the old days to stupidly cut a wire. Luckily I have a sharpening kit so I can fix them instead of sending them back, but I'm not happy that the scissors I ordered don't cut well out of the box. I used to buy Wescott and never had a problem.

No sticky scissors!

These shears cut sticky materials really well. I wish they were a little more comfortable to hold. Due to a slight arthrosis in the thumb, it went directly to the painful area. But these aren't the kind of scissors I would use for long cutting, so they suit me. My scissors are out of double-sided tape!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Older model

Makes ribbon cutting easy and effortless.

I bought a large roll of 1 inch wide double sided tape. I needed different sizes, but there wasn't a huge price difference in terms of width, so I chose a wide material with the intention of halving or quartering it if needed. It was too difficult with my regular scissors, but these non-stick scissors worked great!

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • boring packaging

Revain has Wescott Titanium Non Stick Scissors

I am a postcard maker and use a lot of chopsticks to glue my scissors together. I've been looking for a pair that I can use just for this purpose. At Revain I found these wonderful Wescott Titanium Bonded Non-Stick Scissors that are just right for you. Now I never have to struggle to get the goo off the scissors again. Thank you Revan

Titanium scissors are good for cutting tools

For a kindergarten teacher, paper, tape and glue belong together. These scissors sounded like a good idea to me. They just arrived and we've been using them for about a week. They are amazing and work as described. I actually got a straight 7" and then another package with a 7" and 2 other sizes. I recommend it to everyone, but especially teachers.

CAREFUL HANDLING! Best in Scissors

They get 3 stars because they are really great scissors as long as they are one piece but they are not very well constructed. I use them all day to cut thick duct tape and aluminum/plastic multilayer foils. They cut great and don't really stick, but break very easily. My last pair broke after I tried to put them in my bank bag and dropped them. Broke right at the screw. Otherwise great scissors.
