Durable ball on standard balls

This is a durable golf ball at a good price. They don't break easily when hit hard while driving. They roll nice and gently across the green. The price is right and you don't feel so bad about losing a lot of balls in the water on a harder golf course.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some small things

Great golf balls for beginners

I am a beginner and got them as a gift. I really like her. Good distance and nice soft feel out of the club on the green. I usually play with crappy used golf balls, so I save them for the ball game when there's no water or thick forest to lose them.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • boring packaging

Golf balls are best in standard balls

I actually found a Wilson Staff 50 on a golf course and used it for a round. I liked it so much that I bought a box. They feel soft and travel well. I'm not a big hitter so perfect for me and well priced. I'm looking forward to the next round. Update: Played a round with these balls today. They travel farther than my Callaways. I can recommend these balls.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Doubtful

This ball flies straight and long

I played this ball for the first time last week. I am 68 years old and have just started playing golf again after a 20 year break. I only managed 9 holes, but hit the middle of the fairway on all par 5s and 4s). I hit the green at 170 yards, par 3. This ball goes very straight and long. The rims had a 210 carry only with 3 wooden rims. No curves on my recordings. Everything went right.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Unreliable

Fantastic Ball: Standard Balls

I'm in my 40's and I play with a handicap of 8. I have a driver's stick head spread of about 105 miles per hour and I typically dribble this ball about 270 yards. What I like most about the Wilson 50 Elite is how straight it is at miss. This is by far the straightest ball I've ever played. It works decently on green side kicks and feels good off the stick. The icing on the cake is the price. I have tried them all, for amateur players this ball is the best.

Pros
  • Great Overall
Cons
  • Little Stuff

Happy Camper is the best of the standard balls

Hard to beat for the price. I played every ball that was made and that's no exaggeration. It's a soft ball so it flies around the green and I find it almost perfect. I've even tried a dozen Wilson Duos but for the price you can't beat it, I don't see any difference. Long distance, good feeling and I like to feel it. It's consistent and I have no complaints at all. I've bought at least 4 dozen and will be ordering a few more before trying anything else. I haven't heard any complaints like Tommyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Good replacement for PROVI-1X

I started playing this ball in spring when the backswing wasn't established yet and I didn't want to lose more expensive balls. I'm a golfer and have used the Provi-1X for competitions for the past several years. Lately I've been using Wilson instead and like it as much as Provi. I'm 70 years old but still have a swing speed of 100 mph and sometimes more depending on my physical condition at the time (I spend the winter working on swing mechanics and golf muscle tone). With the Wilson I can get

. and these balls feel good off the club. They're cheap but made well enough for my game, they're short-lived, scratch easily, and tend to water when I'm around them. I've tried other balls, some of which are the newest and guaranteed to be the longest and best, but I keep coming back to this ball. It suits my slower swing, feels good off the bat, flies as accurate as I do, is affordable and comes in 3 colors. Whatever I play, I always have one or two of these cases in my bag. If you have aโ€ฆ

Wilson/Staff Elite 50 Golf Balls

Wilson Staff Elite 50 Golf Balls are the best golf balls I've played at almost any price point. I've gotten the distance I've gotten on my Titleist NXT Tours, which I've been playing with for years, and the feeling is incredible. I bought a dozen after seeing a few reviews about them and liked them so much I turned around and bought another dozen the day after I played with them for the first time. What really amazed me was that I played 18 holes with the same ball and it was still like new. At
