Don't you make them like last year?

I loved the 1st set I bought and gave it to a family member. (now I regret it) The 2nd set I recently bought had the rubber torn on first use. I live in Montana and wear my sandals year round so they are essential to keep me from slipping on the ice and I use them to get to and from the ice. Grocery store. The coils are very smooth on the inside, I have to take them off before stepping on the linoleum.

Poor product quality - zero shelf life.

I bought Yaktrax 6 years ago and they were snow and ice resistant. had to be replaced this year due to rust. What happened to the product quality? Received them on a Monday and wore them after a weekend storm. On Thursday, one of the pieces of rubber came loose during a walk. I attached it with velcro and then the metal handle on the other broke which I noticed as I almost fell on the ice. I'm looking for the best product.

The size is small. Must be removed for security reasons. Impractical.

They work on snow and ice, but someone needs to figure out how to change the design so they don't have to be removed when walking on hard, smooth surfaces. I work in delivery and I have bad weather all the time. They work great on ice and snow. However, wearing them on concrete and tile floors is just as dangerous as walking on ice without them. It's totally inconvenient to take them off every time someone gets on or off. Especially when your hands are already full.

    Poor quality, breaks easily

They work well but are useless. I've been wearing them for about a month and one of the rubber straps has snapped (on both shoes), also on one shoe the steel spiral has started to protrude somehow so that it was completely protruding from the shoe. I screwed it back on as I rode down the road in the cold because I didn't want it catching on the toe of my other boot and causing me to fall face down in the road. Really poor quality - rather spend a little more and get something durable than buy…

Prevents slipping on the combustion engine!

This is my top winter pick for anyone who lives where it snows. Slipping on ice is the worst! They slip over all boots (I usually wear them over my winter boots) and prevent slipping when walking outdoors on snow and ice in winter. I've tried other options, these coils are my favorites. Just take them on and off. take them off when you go indoors. They get stuck in carpet and can mark hardwood floors, but are necessary if you don't want to slip on ice, which happens when there's snow nearby.

    Warning! Wrong scale

Wrong scale! Get a size from what they say you should get. I used it and got a small size for a size 10 women's shoe. I would have to stretch them enough to put them on shoes that I don't think the rubber would last very long. I put size S on my girlfriend's shoe, women's size 6. They fit perfectly. Unfortunately I ordered her a very small size according to the size chart and the order is on its way so I just have to send it back. Disappointed with wrong size chart. have used it a lot.

    High expectations for disappointment

I bought these based on reviews as I was looking for a replacement for my dog. Like: Easy to attach to boots. On snow and ice, they fulfilled their purpose in a short time. I liked that they were round coils rather than spike-like teeth to avoid scratching the floor. Disliked: Product lifespan - wearing time less than two weeks. The diamonds of the product fell apart. The coils are off. Others are flattened. The coils ended up scratching my concrete floor. Unfortunately I don't think this is a…

Belts save nerves, time and money

Do you only need them once or for the whole winter? Long-distance adventures or more frequent use, choose models with straps. Why? I live in Minnesota where the winters are harsh. We train young people to walk like penguins and I know many people with traumatic injuries as a result of falling on the ice. I regret not having received them sooner. In deeper snow, however, they sometimes jump. And you won't notice. So, some distance away, you'll realize you've lost it and set out to find it. Go…

Great grip but my pair broke within a week.

I ordered them after my old pair of another brand broke. A friend had a lot of praise for Yaktraks, so I chose him! I wore them 3 times. I was really impressed with how much traction they added. We've had a lot of snow and ice this week and I didn't slip at all walking to the bus stop. I live in a hilly area so gravity and ice can slip. I think they slipped easily over the boots and felt secure enough that I didn't have to worry about losing one of them without realizing it. However, when I put
