    Works as part of my zone coverage.

    Easy installation. Easy to move around if you want to adjust the coverage grid. Plus, plus, plus. It integrates with Yolink switches and software to provide zone or scene lighting. Perfect. Traffic. Light on. CCTV cameras detect the scene change (from dark to bright) and record the action. twice as great.

    Great way to get traffic alerts

    I bought this device to track traffic in my driveway. I set up the Alexa skill for various operations. Alexa notifies be when there is movement and also turns on the driveway lights at night to give my security system a better grasp of what triggered it. I love that it uses LoRa for distance and battery life.

    A good thing! - security and surveillance

    Love it! Now I have 3 of these and am thinking about more. We know in advance if someone is coming towards us in the driveway. I had ringing but the squirrel turned it on. Not with them, but we catch a lot of deer moving around the area. Alexa speaks and announces incoming traffic or people. I know when the package will arrive. Was VERY happy with Yolink products.

    As advertised! for motion detector

    It sits at the end of a 500ft driveway and works great. Our dogs found out we had a simple chime in the driveway, so I got it and along with Alexa said "driveway." Because the puppies are used to Alexa's voice, they don't hear her. Since it's so far from the road, it's nice to get a notification when someone pulls up. The range is just fantastic!

    Good device but not like advertised range

    I like this device and like all YoLink devices it is easy to install and connect. However, the detection range is much lower than the replacement device (used to detect vehicles on driveways outside). I haven't finished tuning to see if I can improve the range, but it's looking closer to 15ft than 50ft.

    Great device - security and surveillance

    I bought two YoLink outdoor motion detectors to detect intruders in my home. They arrived quickly and in good condition. Installation was pretty easy, but nothing worked after installing it. I called customer service and within minutes John was back up and running. User error!😬So far everything works and I'm thinking about buying additional detectors.

    I think good for security and surveillance

    I can't believe how far these motion sensors can transmit. I have a hub in our main closet that connects to our backup battery and network switch. I moved the motion sensor to the farthest entrance in the corner of our 3-acre rectangular lot and placed it at the entrance. I was like, "Pffff, 1/4 mile, whatever - that's not going to work." But it does. It works well. I get instant notifications, I can quickly open my camera and see people entering our property before they hit our cameras…

    Exactly what I wanted

    This motion sensor works exactly how I wanted it to. This is the only one I could find that works with an app to send an alert to my phone instead of a device that needs to be connected. I have a very long country road and wanted to be warned when cars and vans were coming my way. The only thing I find a problem with is, as others have said, the distance is definitely not 40 feet, 30 is closer to accuracy. I set it up on a post 15 feet from the lane when I'm on the farthest side of the lane. it

    Narrow motion detection, looks well made, expensive

    I'm looking to add 6-8 of these devices to my existing gate sensors at some point. Setup was very easy, and while adding it to Alexa is always a little tricky, it worked well. I created a procedure in Alexa to send a "message" to all the Echo and Alexa devices in the house (9) when motion is detected, some only fire at certain times. 45-55 degrees.     Updated 23-Aug-21. Based on feedback from myself and others, the company has updated their specs to reflect the sensor's actual range of up to 20-30 feet. How often does that happen!     Overall I like this motion sensor very much. I've been waiting a while for the company to make an external motion sensor that works with Alexa. In early 2021, I suggested this to Yolinks in their testimonials section. Yolink seems very open to feedback.
