A versatile addition to my tool kit

I don't know how durable these bits are in the long run but if you need to clean up and patch up an antique maple floor like me they have been an invaluable addition to my Dremel cleaning bits old grooves and splinters

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • quality

Great for engraving stones

Used to engrave my rabbit's gravestone. They are powerful and work quite well, they just didn't work as well as I had hoped, not because of them but because the stone I chose was oddly "split". While they are tough I don't know about durability and it probably depends on the surface you use them on. I have to say I thought all the bits worked great except for the ball bit on the stone.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Secret

Very good for its low price but not great. I will probably buy again.

I've had about 1,000,000,000,000 rotary carbide bits in my life (okay, maybe a few dozen). It's more of a hobby in my garage. YOU ARE BIG FOR IT! They seem to cut a little easier than I would have expected from a brand name tailor. The shaft is also slightly curved. But then again, for playing around with the price in your garage, this is a great item for a little detail work.

Great product at a very reasonable price. Don't let the price fool you.

Sharp, strong and worth every penny. With these beats I worked on different materials for about an hour. It was a pleasure to use them on a tree. Half an hour later they were still new. No noticeable wear at all. Also light metal. I was so pleasantly surprised that I bought the set for my son. He's a wood and metal craftsman and he'll definitely enjoy it. Highly recommended but beware. They are very sharp and can escape you if you are not careful. Be safe and enjoy.

Great rotary tool grinders

This is a great buy for small rotary tools. I've used them on a few aluminum projects and some small cast iron port matching jobs. They'll gnaw through aluminum with minimal vibration and no noticeable wear after probably an hour of using multiple bits. The two tips I used for cast iron showed some wear after a few minutes, but nothing to slow down or change the bit's efficiency. If for the price I had to buy another set to do a second job (a port to fit a pair of V8 heads) that would be a…

The aluminum intake manifold broke through, no problem.

I went to [Big Box Store] and bought a [turntable brand name] carbide drill for about $10. Came home and it was very, very slow to port my Subaru's "TGV" intake manifold system. Grinder, grinder, grinder, says the internet. But I didn't want to invest in tools to do that. So I bought her. With them I got all my work done very quickly. I used a bit of WD-40 spray here and there on the project to keep the aluminum from clogging the bits, but other than that it worked like a charm. Subaru starts…

Did the ridge trick work

I ordered these in desperation trying to get the pivot pins out of a GMT400 (99) Suburban. There is hardly any information about this on YouTube and Google. I tried several drill bits and custom made tools to try and get the pins out. The drills were semi-successful, but due to the hardness of the pins, the drills quickly dulled and could not finish the job. I was skeptical because of the country of origin and the cheap price, but they gnawed at the needle like it didn't exist. I only saw a…

cuts steel good good for deburring

I used this to sand down the leftover edge of a 3/8 grade 8 bolt before recutting it to clean up the leftover old bolt in a cast iron manifold. I used to drill out the bolt with a 1/4 Bosch universal carbide drill, which easily gnawed through the broken bolt. These knives also cut through steel with ease. I then cleaned the rough and rusty solder flange. All bits were preserved without damage. They are much better than stone mills. They are durable but I can't say how long they will last but I…

Amazing Bits: Cutting Tools

This is sliced bread with the greatest importance. I've been using it for over an hour today, punched a large hole in very thick hard steel and never bothered with the drill bit. Now I would like to warn people against using them on steel, the metal splinters they produce are PERFECTLY sized to pierce your skin and clothing! At first I just held the workpiece on my lap, and after a few minutes I realized I had a problem! I vacuumed the clothing, scraped the wood chips off my hands with a razor…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
