Good product!

I think nobody has to cut branches! Bought it for our goat hooves (hadn't used it for that yet) but ran into some problems over Christmas trying to trim larger branches. Nothing worked and the branch broke or the tree trimmer happened to be still on the counter so we tried them and they worked better than all of our more expensive clippers.

Great shears but mine arrived used and damaged

I was highly recommended to trim goat hooves and now I understand why. They are perfect for my pygmy goats with their smaller blades than other shears. However, I'm only giving it three stars because mine came in packaging that was previously opened, taped, and stapled. This in itself didn't really matter as we all realized our purchase wasn't what we really needed and returned it. BUT they have been used and damaged, the blades are badly nicked and there is very little smooth edge left.

The saddest day.

I really enjoyed using these trimmers. They were very sharp and seemed to be the best I've ever used. On first use the button holding it closed/latched fell off. It took me forever to find it. My husband and I tried putting it back on but failed miserably. This way they would always stay open without a button locking them. The goat pushed her off the milk parlor and kicked out the spring, and she was never found. Complete garbage. I'm not impressed. You will be returned minus the lost button…
