Thirty amp relay on relay

This relay failed after a short time even though it was only loaded with about twenty amps. I purposely overpriced the relay to make it last longer, but it failed after only two weeks of use. I understand the relay wasn't expensive but it should have lasted longer. It wasn't a good buy.

Fixed my Oven - Powered Accessory

I have a Thermador Wall Oven that has not worked for 15 years. We paid three separate technicians to diagnose and fix the problem. Every time they failed we had to rebuild the computer, but that wasn't the case. My husband replaced this relay after 15 years of having very expensive pan storage in my kitchen, it was REPAIRED for less than $20. Thank you for picking up and sending this part right away!

Big performance in a small package

This tiny and fully enclosed relay can switch an entire 15A AC outlet with just 0.02A of coil current. I combined it with Revain's advertised Dwyer MCS-111050 AC switch to make a master/slave AC power controller that is now in daily use. So when we turn on (or turn off) our TV receiver, all of its accessories are turned on (or off). ) simultaneously with it.

Excellent relay, best of relays

I used this relay to activate my fireplace which had a simple wall switch and was either a microvolt or ground wire. I used a chimney fan to activate the relay as I almost always use the two together. The fan switch has been replaced with an az wave wall switch. Works great to wirelessly turn on my fireplace with Harmony Elite and SmartThings hubs. The only thing I didn't expect was that the coil contacts are smaller than the load contacts. Didn't fit my standard insulated quick disconnects.

Fits well good for spare parts

After 10 years I exchanged the OEM relay of my Panasonic canister vacuum cleaner for this Zettler relay. Fit was good, all electrical spade connectors are ok, mounting screw is ok too. And the vacuum works perfectly. Panasonic is a 12A unit with two motors, one for the vacuum pump and one for the brushes. I don't plan on using a motorized brush accessory as I'm out of carpets so I'll be within the 30A rating of this relay. So I hope this Zettler relay will last at least 10 years. I will update…

Works great, small and reliable.

Very small, quiet operation, no overheating. I used this relay to power a bunch of LEDs under the cabinet when I pressed the hood light button. Current enters and exits through the coil circuit and the switched circuit is closed or open as required. This is what my wiring looks like: Coil Circuit: Terminals on the top left: One switches to "hot" (from the exhaust) and the other to neutral. Switched circuit: The LED hot current input is isolated and connected to the COM and NO terminal. The…

Used for vacuum cleaner

I bought this hoping it would be enough for my Panasonic container vacuum which is slowly deteriorating. The original replacement for this was hard to come by and would have been slightly more expensive. It seemed like a great alternative, especially considering its amperage! I thought it would be perfect for my vacuum cleaner but unfortunately it failed after about 2 weeks of use and instead I decided to just use the DPST switch to achieve the same thing. Basically the contacts started fusing…

Exactly what I needed - Replacement Parts

I only gave this one 4 stars because it came with no instructions and the pins were labeled COM, NO and NC but the datasheet I found via the link in found the questions mentioned. to pins 1 through 5. I'm sure an electrician would have figured that out right away, but it might be easier for a simple consumer like me. However, it works great. The secret is to power/hot signal the COM port and then connect it to the device you want to carry and then the other wire of the device with NO (normally…

Perfect for my application

I was looking for a relay that could be connected to the output of a PIR detector so I could trigger motion detection to open contacts on a wireless Z-Wave sensor and close. This relay has worked brilliantly for this purpose. This relay offers both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts (I needed NC but I found it more convenient to use one relay with both). The relay makes a fairly audible click when opening or closing, which was actually an advantage for me. I could easily tell…
