Expensive Junk Food

I can't understand why this food costs so much considering the incredibly cheap ingredients it's made of. The first ingredient is soy husk! To be fair, the ingredient list is in the description. My bearded husband was persuaded to eat something, but he clearly did not prefer it to his usual and natural diet.

Pros
  • 20oz Zoo Med Natural Adult Bearded Dragon Food
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Good alternative.

I bought the product because I only have one bearded dragon and my husband and I are not big vegetables so I threw away too much. My beard will eat this until there is nothing left to eat. I only gave it 4 stars because it takes about 10 minutes to get soft enough to serve. Also, weaning them off vegetables takes several weeks, or they will get diarrhea. be patient for her.

Pros
  • Proper ratio of protein, calcium and fiber for long-term health of adult dragons
Cons
  • unreliable

There is no guarantee your dragon will eat it.

I try to feed our dragon intestines dust crickets, but when they run out I use pellet food to keep them full. I have used another brand of multi colored pellets in the past and our dragon will eat them with no problem. The thing is absolutely unbeatable. Not wet as instructed, and not dry. It does not have to be palatable or have a desirable appearance or smell. In fact, I've gone back to other things and she loves it. So be aware that even if your dragon is otherwise a great eater, you may end

Pros
  • With added vitamins and minerals
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
