## What is SpiderPool

SpiderPool is a Bitcoin mining pool founded in 2018 that earlier also ran Ethereum, Litecoin and Ethereum Classic pools. Since September 2025 it has focused on Bitcoin, offering PPLNS and FPPS payouts with Fractal Bitcoin and DMT-NAT merge-mined alongside BTC.

## Coins, payout schemes and fees

| Coin | Payout scheme | Pool fee | Minimum payout |
|---|---|---|---|
| BTC | PPLNS | 1% (0% during a promotion) | 0.005 BTC |
| BTC | FPPS | 4% | 0.005 BTC |
| FB (Fractal Bitcoin, merge-mined) | PPLNS | 0% | 0.1 FB |
| DMT-NAT (merge-mined) | PPLNS | 4% | 5,000,000 NAT |

## Payouts

| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Payout schedule | Earnings for each UTC day are settled daily and paid between 02:00 and 10:00 UTC, once the threshold is met. |
| Payout scheme explained | FPPS pays a fixed block reward per share plus a share of network transaction fees, with the top and bottom 5% of blocks by fees excluded. |
| Default scheme | New users are placed on PPLNS by default; switching to another scheme is requested by email to support. |
| Merged mining | Fractal Bitcoin (FB) and DMT-NAT are merge-mined with BTC and paid under PPLNS based on daily revenue and hashrate share. |

## Connecting

| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Server regions | Stratum endpoints for North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. |

| Supported hardware | Bitcoin ASIC miners, including Antminer, Whatminer and Avalonminer models. |

## Security and transparency

- Google Authenticator two-factor authentication has been available since January 2025.
- Read-only watcher links let others view miners, hashrate and revenue without account access.
- SpiderPool announced a SOC 2 Type 1 certification on 5 June 2025.
- On 4 February 2026 the pool explained that a timing offset moved one hour of 2 February earnings into 3 February; it said total earnings and payouts were not affected.

## History

## How voting works

Votes are anonymous and carry no text. Each device has one vote per item; press the same button again to remove it. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is voting. We keep a random device ID in a cookie and a salted hash of the IP address to limit abuse — no names, no accounts. Votes are visitors’ opinions, not investment advice.
