Civil War Legacy: Sewing

I love anything Civil War related and this quilt book was a really good book. I've always enjoyed reading it, although I've never delved into the making of a Civil War patchwork quilt. But I will, and when I do I will definitely use this as a guide. Good stories of quilts and great instructions for easy assembly and finishing. Carol did a very good job putting it together.

Great designs - more quilt sizes needed

I love these designs and can't wait to try them. I should have read the product description more carefully though as I skipped the part that said these designs were for wall hangings or small quilts. I'll figure out how to incorporate them into a larger quilt. Too bad you couldn't include requirements for other sizes of quilts/projects.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No effort

Quilts are mini quilts,

Share this with all your patchwork friends!

After making dozens of quilts ranging from baby to king sizes, I ran out of gifts for my kids/grandkids/great-grandkids/friends. This book was the missing link in my scrapbook collection. First, I can't resist the reproductions of fabrics available to the modern quilter, and I have quite a stash. Second, I was looking for smaller projects. This book is the best investment I could make given these facts. I have already made three patterns from this book and have been pleased with the…

Vintage Mini Paradise Blanket!

later If you love vintage quilts or mini quilts or both, you should definitely get this book. Just last year I ventured into making bed size quilts and creating miniature miniatures to decorate countertops and walls. In this book you will find 15 beautiful little quilt patterns that will brighten up any room. These little quilts aren't just a standard sized block with a set of borders like some so-called mini quilts I've seen. These designs are really tiny blocks (the smallest I could see is a…
