NO. DO NOT RECOMMEND

NEW UPDATE: Less than a month later (9 DAYS left!) it's not working anymore. It makes a moving sound and lights up, but the lid won't open. I'm attaching a video. It's terrible because I loved it when it actually worked. i give it back ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love this trash can. I really hope that this continues for a while. I'll be back in a month for an update.

Either received misleading information or wrong product. Not sure yet.

Kind of not happy and if anyone from EKO wants to help I'd be very happy. Ordered a motion sensor bin that was supposed to have a fully removable plastic liner. So basically a trash can in a trash can. The product info says it comes with a removable liner, and even the user manual lists it. But instead I have a ring liner that you have to slap into a garbage bag, tuck the ends under, and then try not to trap your skin in it. Which resulted in me getting an instant bloody blister the first time…

CANNOT BUY FILLER BAGS THAT FIT

. PLEASE READ MY ARTICLE FOR DETAILS. They will send you a pack of 10 bags made for this bin. Once you use these bags you are done. "G" bags cannot be purchased through the EKO website, Amazon or other retailers. My photo shows a torn 20 gallon XL bag that I was trying to fit in as an alternative. I even went so far as to contact the IVF company over the phone. The conversation was extremely sketchy. First she told me they have 2 different sachet flavors and then she started asking for all my…

The new model is a step backwards.

This jar has a good sensor that works well to open and close the lid without touching it. A button can be pressed to hold the lid open until a separate closing button is pressed. To load, garbage bags (13 gallons) are wrapped around a small plastic frame, and then the bag is placed in the tank with the frame. I had the previous model 3 1/2 years before the sensor failed. I couldn't find this model anywhere. I liked the old model better. It had a seamless, one-piece plastic liner inside the…

Too expensive for the quality and design

I bought this bin about 6 months ago for use in the kitchen. This container is way overpriced for the quality you get. It also has some poor design qualities that make me not recommend it; are listed below: - The lid is opened and closed by a combination of a motion sensor and a motor. After about 6-7 seconds, the lid should close again. The lid usually opens fine, but about 50% of the time it only half closes or doesn't close at all when the timer runs out. This has been the case since I…
