Triumph 17 vs 18 is the best in my rating

These are previous editions. I have both the 18 and the 17. The slight difference I noticed is that the 17 has a bit more toe roll compared to the 18's slightly thicker toe padding. Both shoes are incredibly supportive but cushion well. Saucony is the best. If your size 17 is available at a reduced price, grab it.

Pros
  • I'm not sure if any other verification is needed. I love her!
Cons
  • I am very disappointed that Saucony has this embarrassing product and I will not be buying their products again.

no good or bad rating

I can't say anything negative about this shoe. These are well constructed shoes. This is my first time using Saucony and I was not disappointed. I walked in these shoes for several days. The problem I have is not really with the shoes but with the reviews and other information about the shoes. For me, this is definitely not a shoe for long runs. As an everyday trainer, grab shoes, okay, something like that. But they definitely lack the cushioning and comfort I was expecting (from the reviews…

Pros
  • As expected, good quality, fast delivery..
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with flat feet

Heavy runner with bad knees.

Hello dear Amazon buyers. I've been working for about 5-6 years now. Average 3-4 runs per week. 7-10 km per run. I bought Nike when I started running and then switched to Brooks. I ran in them for most of my run. Then in early 2020 I went to a shoe store and bought these Saucony sneakers. I went for a run the same day. And it was one of the best runs I've ever done. My average time per mile was almost 20 seconds shorter. And I kept walking. I must also say that I am a 34 year old male who has…

Pros
  • I am a runner and this is my second pair.
Cons
  • Limited availability in stores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reduce by half.

I had a couple of these in 8 1/5 bits, they were too long. I saw them for $43 in a size 8 and immediately ordered them. It was a good decision as the length is perfect. I had them wide as they are a little tight for me but I will wet them and walk for about an hour and they will stretch a little. . It was the deal of the year as they cost over $150 a few years ago. I will be ordering another one soon if they are still available by the end of the month.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Nice shoe set. The only downside is that one of the shoes broke after 8 months of wearing.

Excellent sneakers in my review.

I bought the Saucony Men's Triumph 17 because I have partial flat feet and running in my area (concrete roads) is very hard on my knees and lower back. This shoe is amazing. Very light, very comfortable even on concrete. A word of caution, I bought half a size down because other reviews mentioned the sock was too big. This was not my experience. Half a size smaller was almost too small. I think it would be more convenient to buy real size. Other than that these shoes are amazing and I will…

Pros
  • Very convenient. As expected from Saucony Triumph
Cons
  • expensive price

Great shoes so far

Bought it just before Christmas 2019. Very comfortable and good for walking. They also wore them to work until we started working from home in March. Probably less than 150 miles total When we went on vacation this summer, the heel cup started popping out. Now they rub my heel every time I put them on. For shoes of this caliber and price they should have lasted MUCH LONGER!

Pros
  • I love the colors, the fit and the light weight. I use them for running and training.
Cons
  • Design may not be aesthetic for some

Tight shoes, you will probably need wide shoes

I'm 75 years old and I walk a lot to stay in shape. I ordered normal shoes 11.5 but they didn't fit me, they were too tight. I ordered again but had to pay significantly more money due to a change of seller. However, all of this means that they are very comfortable, but not squishy and soft like my previous pair of Sketchers, and offer better "riding" support. I stand more upright and my back hurts less after walking. Can only recommend these shoes and will definitely buy another pair.

Pros
  • Very convenient. Not as difficult as expected.
Cons
  • Can wear out quickly with daily use

Overall great shoe, the best in my rating

I warmed up these shoes last week and only ran in them twice. This is my second pair of soucons, the first is Kinvara 11. The quality seems to be as good on them as they are. Which is very good. They are very similar to Cinvara, think next level in a pillow. The only odd part of the shoe is in the toe box, which drastically reduces cushioning. The pillow is practically not felt. It's nothing that worries me, but it's definitely something to think about.

Pros
  • I bought them for my husband as his old ones he had for many years were finally gone. He loves these!
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable for people with sensitive feet

Simply put, this is a wonderfully soft shoe.

I have plantar fissitis and achilles tendonitis. I haven't jogged in over a year. I purchased this shoe solely from YouTube reviews of soft shoes and am very glad I did! I've just completed my first run in over a year and I'm sure I'll be in running shape pretty soon. They fit tight, are comfortable, but you can also walk in them.

Pros
  • Great company, great shoes! Can only recommend this running shoe!
Cons
  • Can cause foot infections

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Slightly wide foot; prefer to take 2

Shoes for Max cushion. Gives me a lot of problems. Before running, I have to wrap tape around my thighs. If I don't, my hips hurt for about 15 minutes while running and 4-5 days after my pleasure. The best shoe is the HOKA Clifton, or Best Bounce Shoe, and the prize is last year's Asics NovaBlast. (I think next time I'll fit my size 11) but not as tight as a Saucony Triumph 17.

Pros
  • Very soft and comfortable...
Cons
  • Limited shelf life

Good fit, comfortable, great cushioning

This is my first Saucony pair. I was specifically looking for shoes with better cushioning (to save my knees) and these just got delivered. This is only the first impression, but very positive. Let's see how long they last.

Pros
  • I'm currently running in sneakers for long and even short distances. Great versatile shoe!
Cons
  • Not suitable for people who need the added stability of a running shoe.

Ideal for runners who rely on roads and sidewalks

I'm giving this review as someone who used to walk a little and never wore proper shoes. I really started walking and learned to live with a bit of pain in my legs. This shoe offers great support and comfort. They will look a little weird if you try to wear them every day. On the other hand, I've been wearing skateboard shoes for 5 or 6 years. ah. Buy, they are good quality too.

Pros
  • Available in multiple colors to suit individual style
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with metatarsalgia

Toe Box Issue is the best in my rating

I have been using Saucony Rides for many years. Wanted to try the Triumph. Unfortunately, there is a thin plastic strip inside the front of the sock. Perfect size to catch my little nail on each foot. I returned to Rydes. No problem with them.

Pros
  • Highly acclaimed by athletes and fitness enthusiasts for its comfort and performance.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with gout

Amazingly comfortable and supportive running shoes

I run long distances, from 10km to half marathon, and my back hurts. They offer excellent cushioning and grip. I read reviews saying they were a bit large (big toe) and should cut the size in half, which I did. Also that for a normal or wider foot to get wide. I have a normal width of 11.5 for most shoes. 11 wide fits in perfectly.

Pros
  • The heel counter stabilizes the foot and prevents overpronation.
Cons
  • Can cause foot numbness

Revainrating 2 out of 5

good cushion, very bad for treadmills

Bought these a few months ago. Drove them from 2 to 300 km. I ran outside 4-5 times and the rest on a treadmill. I'm 5'11" and 215 pounds so I need a lot of cushioning in my running shoes. They are highly recommended for cushioning training and marathon training. I've been training with Brooks Glycerins for 5 years now and I would say they are comparable, maybe a little tighter to the body of my foot. The heel pad is one of the best I've used in 5-10 years. They still feel good on the road, or…

Pros
  • As many have mentioned this is a great shoe for long distance running and it didn't disappoint.
Cons
  • Limited breathability in hot weather

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoes great price

So far the great boots have been running and walking for over a month. I walk about 4 miles and run 2 when I train and haven't had any issues or hot spots.

Pros
  • Very comfortable, love these shoes, will buy the next 18
Cons
  • Limited depreciation

Large! : my rating: my rating

This is my sixth pair of Saucony Triumphs and I love them so much! They feel softer than previous generations. Really comfortable!

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with Morton's Neuroma.

Great shoes I think

The best running shoe I've tried. Good support without the laces compressing the top of the foot and great cushioning for us taller runners. The toe cap I saw was the subject of a few reviews for me was great I'm a size 14 and it just left a little room next to my pinky which fits me. glad i made the purchase

Pros
  • Great shoes. Very satisfied
Cons
  • Prolonged use may cause leg fatigue

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good - only one week

Good cushioning is my main concern as an older runner - the cushioning feels great. Contrary to some other reviewers, I found the fitting size (in my case size 8) to be ok.

Pros
  • I like the pillow and the wide support. The big toe box is great. Very easy.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with wide feet

Great feel and use. However, the sole should not tear across the entire ball of the foot, and tearing of the material on the outside of the ball of the foot appears premature.

Pros
  • The responsive midsole provides responsiveness and a feeling of energy during wear.
Cons
  • Limited supination control
