Rusted immediately in kitchen and bathroom fixtures

Although this product looked good, it rusted after about 4 days of use. I bought two before I found out the problem. I used clear nail polish to coat the edges of the second one to prevent rust but I'm not sure it will hold up.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Problems encountered

Rusted within a week

Bought to match an oiled bronze shower set. After installation, it rusted within a week and soiled our bathtub. Find another brand and save yourself the trouble. Read other reviews of the same product, rust is a big problem.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Reliable

Don't waste your money.

This is so bad. I've used it and it's already completely rusted! I have a bain tub so it's acrylic instead of brass. No need for rust. I had the last one for 15 years! I guess I'll have to backorder from my previous company. I ordered it on April 7th, today is April 19th!

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Display Distortion

12/13/2020 Backordered oil bronze finish shower strainer (to replace a rusted and discolored bronze oil drain three months ago). The color is black rather than oil bronze. Also, I have to agree with other customers that within three months the shower drain started causing rust and corrosion around my shower drain. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Disappear

Do not buy it rusts quickly and stains the tub

I installed this (very easy to install btw) and two months later I noticed there were rust spots on the tub around the drain! Unbelievable. Not only is the thing rusting (after two months), but my porcelain bathtub is stained. Aim (but shame on you if you do), otherwise DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No mold required

Size and picture as stated

No frills tank strainer with long screw to attach. Worked well on an OLD Price Pfister tub with a 3" outer chrome strip and a 1.50" inner diameter. I chose another strainer which I bought at the same time because the part of the tub where the screw screws into stripped my tub and the strainer only rattles when water gets on it so I am sending it back. But if you don't have my problem then it will work fine. I also like that it's convex.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Doesn't catch hair. Looks good

Update: Unfortunately I can NOT find any standard hair. I know it doesn't go below the outer rim. It has to go through my pipes. This plum looks great and hides the old plum well, but I should be able to find my wife's hair on the plum easily. Nothing at all, and she has long hair. Not good. I ordered chrome and it does NOT have slits on the outside edge to allow water to drain completely around it. As previously mentioned, when you empty the bath tub or after a shower, water collects around…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Something is wrong
