Super fast, private web hosting alternative

I am very impressed by how well thought out this product was before launch! The UI/UX really helps newcomers get to grips with what urbit offers in terms of privacy as much or more than anything else (and that's saying something!). And there are lots o' options for people who want additional features added over time once things have been fully tested / reviewed internally first - which they did!! Great choice here given just how many ways u can 'be'. Privacy concerns not solved 100% yet either…

Pros
  • Super secure, peer2peer architecture; private data stays safe even after hostages is shut down.
  • You own your stuff completely unlike cloud services such Gdrive,
  • There’s no central server controlling it meaning less risk involved should one fall prey
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
