New seals installed in mid-June. Very happy at first, saved a significant amount of money. The steering was better than it was. Once again I was out on the water with my family without hydraulic steering due to both seals on the piston rod leaking and spilling fluid I found at home on one side. This happened in early August. On this route we went out with the boat about 10 times, it is not much worse and shameful to be on the water with wife and children, especially the second time. This time I will go with Sea Starr parts. More expensive but I hope I get what I pay for.
