I bought this to use as an absolutely tiny ASRock DESKMINI A300W. This cools the Ryzen 3400g. The Deskmini's stock cooler cried under load. At 100% load, the maximum temperature was 68 degrees Celsius. This Noctua cooler runs under the same load and maxes out at 65 degrees. The main reason for the 4 stars was the marginal increase in performance. The 3400g also had a slightly higher boost clock. That would be the only real downside. Installation. Literally the easiest aftermarket cooler to make. Looks. Mysterious black. Noctua's Rust and French Vanilla colors are nowhere to be seen. The biggest plus for me is the sound. You can't hear it at idle. Even at full load it's quiet and the noise is more of a sigh than a howl like a stock cooler. See if you have more space buy a bigger cooler, if you don't have space it's as good as it gets.
