Review on OEMTOOLS 24938 Pneumatic Manual Extractor by Sameer Hilton

This thing is a beast. I used it to drain gear oil from an AV gearbox on a boat. Water got into the gear oil and it took on the consistency of toothpaste - very thick. I used it in manual mode and it worked. It was slow due to the thickness of the liquid, but it worked great. I used to use a Mityvac manual vacuum pump that pulled out about 1 ounce every 3 minutes or so. This pulled out about a quarter of the toothpaste liquid in a few minutes. I then flushed the gearbox several times with clean gear oil and this pump pulled it out perfectly. I've only used it in manual mode but just pump 5-10 times and it keeps sucking. I then used it to change the engine oil via the dipstick. It took 10-15 minutes to pour out 6 liters but again it worked fine. Just pump it up a few times every few minutes and it keeps working. I tested the pneumatic function and it worked when tested, but I never tried the part to actually suck liquid because I didn't want to pull out the air hose and the hand pump worked so well. I'm glad I bought it and was wondering why I didn't buy it years ago.
