I wear size 40 in my belts to buckle on the 1st hole so I ordered a size 42 belt and it fits a size 40 exactly, the size is exactly what i wanted as i only carry guns to the range and just loosen the strap to adjust it, otherwise i wear it normally as it has a great fit and quality feel.
