Well these replacement adhesive pads are really good. Not too thick or sticky like some of them. you are good With one caveat. You MUST follow the instructions for it to work. If you don't, they are guaranteed to fail every time. Application for better adhesion: Clean the back of your phone or the smooth case thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Remove the cover from the side specified for your phone and stick it where you want it. Gently but firmly press the circle down for a minute or two. Now remove the top cover and glue the pop socket base. Base only. Press again gently but firmly for a few minutes. (Press hard but remember not to press too hard or you will damage the phone.) Don't add the top part of the Pop Socket yet. Leave the glue and base for a FULL 48 HOURS. Don't lose patience and hurry up with this process. You have to wait the full 48 hours. When the 48 hours is up, add the top of your Pop Socket and enjoy. Make it a little easier on yourself by over-pressuring the pop socket for a few more days if possible. I have a big and heavy phone and I thought Pop Sockets wouldn't work for me anymore. It turns out I didn't use the glue correctly because everything is fine now. Hope that helps.
