Review on πŸ§₯ Columbia Buck Butte Insulated Hooded Jacket for Men by Keith Iverson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I wanted to please but there was no quality

I usually think of their products (mostly shoes) as being a bit out of my comfort level price range. So when I saw this jacket at this price, I jumped at it immediately. I was disappointed to find it didn't keep me warm. Although I've lived in the Northeast all my life, I've never liked winter and hated the cold. So I was hoping this would help. Even when the weather was over 30 degrees, it didn't work for me. But what really got me on the edge (ie back) was the fact that the pockets are sewn in such a way that the wind flies right in. So my hands were even colder than usual. After this experience, I read that Columbia has been releasing more lower-priced products that don't quite live up to consumer expectations in terms of build quality. I would say that this coat is exactly that. OK, but not at this price. I would say this is a $40-$50 coat in terms of quality and warmth factor.
