The hose on our vacuum started to fall apart around the coils and of course this happened in the middle of trying to move into a new house. In an attempt to get MacGyver to make it work, I covered the hole with duct tape, which seemed to work pretty well until another hole ripped into another piece. I was a little frustrated as we bought this vacuum expecting it to last a long time until I found that everything is very easy to disassemble and the hose can be replaced. We bought this one and it fits like it was designed just for that purpose :) I think my MacGyver skills should be applied to another project.
