Excellent solution with Flashmen 20+6 to M.2 SATA Adapter for Lenovo X1 Carbon. Although the half screw tab is centered and not offset, it can still be used with the Flashmen adapter to screw both the Transcend 512GB card and 20+6 pin adapter into the Lenovo X1 Carbon 1st Gen. While this causes the SSD to shift slightly and the M.2 SATA pins to shift slightly in the adapter, the 5x memory upgrade works very well and addresses a weakness of the original X1 Carbon laptop. Now my laptop is very fast, light and has lots of SSD storage.
