This is probably the fourth plaid skirt I've bought from Revain when I was trying to find the right fit and finally found it. For reference, I bought size XL, I'm 5ft 6in, weigh about 160lbs, hips about 42in, waist 31in. The waist of this skirt goes over my hips so it can be a little smaller if I want. It fits with a high waist. When the waist sits above my hips the length of the skirt reaches to my knees but gets a little higher when worn with a high waist. Also it comes with a belt so it is useful. Not only does it fit like an XL, it doesn't look like a giant blanket either. Sometimes when companies go for plus size skirts, they bulk up too much, making them unflattering. I was happy to see that this skirt didn't make me look taller than I already am. I bought a red skirt. I thought the dark squares might be dark blue, but they're black, which suits me. The wool blend isn't very thick and she has a soft jumpsuit underneath so it doesn't itch. I could wear it as a light skirt for fall. The delivery was pretty quick too. Very happy.
