Review on 🪵 8-Inch Acacia Wood Serving & Cutting Board with Juice Groove for Home Use - TB by Jennifer Irvin

CONTEXT My husband and I have two wooden cutting boards, both specially for us (my brother made one and the other was engraved and given as a gift). They're both very powerful and a little awkward to use, especially if we're just slicing something small like a lemon. PROS - The wood is so beautiful! - She's got a juice groove! I like it. minuses. When it first came in the mail it was wrapped in plastic and had a paper/cardboard label inside. Both the plastic and cutting board and paper/cardboard label looked wet or soaked. I opened it and sure enough, it was pretty greasy. I immediately took it to the kitchen and washed it. Now it seems normal but it is very strange that this happened. - When I washed the board, I noticed that it wasn't smooth in many places. It's actually quite rough and it seemed like maybe it had been used before or something. Obviously I know it's not, but just confuses me. I know it says 8 inches but damn it! Didn't know how small it was. .
