Review on Hydrofarm AAPA15L Active Aqua 4 Outlet Air Pump - 6W, 15 L/min Flow Rate, Silver by Jenna Davis

This is an average pump in terms of noise levels. I wouldn't want it in my bedroom at max power, but it's a lot quieter at lower power settings. The Whisper AP300 (my reference) is significantly quieter. I tested the performance by dumping a gallon jug filled with water into a bucket and seeing how quickly the air pump's maximum output pushed all the water out. This is probably different than what the manufacturer uses to test the output. In any case, I calculated the performance to be up to 9.5 liters per minute. For comparison: The Whisper AP300 flowed 4 liters per minute. These values were measured by combining all output ports. Power consumption was 5 watts at full free flow at maximum power and 3 watts at full blockage of the outputs; it is the same as AP300. All in all a good pump for the money. It also appears to be well built. I would buy again.
