Product arrived with no instructions, luckily I was able to watch a competitor's YouTube video on how to install and operate it. I had to cut one of my hoses off at both ends (to keep the kink) to install it without kinks. I installed the Wix filter 24070 and couldn't seal it. I hope this is just a defect in the filter and not in the housing. Tomorrow I will install a new filter and update if possible. The valves allowed the filter housing to isolate and allowed me to stop the leak and continue using my car. When I removed the leaking filter, I dumped it out and found that even after multiple flushes and backwashes of my oil cooler, it had trapped many of those fine grains of black sand. .Update: New filter properly sealed, no leaks found.
