I have Mirage Nanosat 5.1 speakers hanging upside down from the ceiling. Other inexpensive mounts from Best Buy, Sears, or Walmart either couldn't bend a full 90 degrees (so you might want to mount them on the side of the wall since the satellite speaker mounting point is at the bottom) or are very long. very impractical to mount directly on the ceiling. I wanted to mount my speakers on the wall, but seeing how flat they were I mounted them directly to the ceiling. Looks great and works great so far. It's rated for up to 9.5 pounds, so I don't think I'll have a problem with that.
