Review on Removable Protector Microsoft 13 5Inch Anti Spy by Ron Mohammed

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does not allow others to see screen from left or right, fits perfectly but reduces image sharpness

When installed, viewing the screen from the left or right will block a good view of the screen. For example, if you're in a coffee shop, the person at the next table won't be able to read your email or see the contents of your slide. If they're sitting next to you on the plane, they may be able to see partially (e.g. half of the screen closer to them). The filter doesn't appear to block visibility from above or below. So if someone was standing directly behind you, they could easily read your screen. So again, in an airplane scenario, this doesn't offer much security or privacy. The filter fits my Microsoft Surface Book 2 so well that you hardly notice that a third-party filter is installed. It looks like it belongs to him. There are cutouts for microphones and front cameras, as well as small cutouts for speakers on the sides. It is about one millimeter smaller in width and height, so that it does not have to be positioned without tolerances when installed. that (which is good). I usually find it difficult to apply protective films to phone screens as there is less chance of failure. On the contrary, I was able to install it without any problems. When the filter is on and you're viewing content head-on, there's a slight vignetting effect, making the edges of the screen less bright than the center. Given the purpose of the filter, that's understandable, but impressions from it are still not as good as we'd like. I'm just fine with leaving the filter on all the time and not removing and reinstalling it when needed.
