Bought this for my cat as she is a little crazy and a little clumsy. She doesn't like to sleep so we had to find a place for her that would calm her down and help her sleep, as well as a place where she would have a place and where she could grow with her. Also to protect them when we go grocery shopping etc. It was perfect! We leave the door open as it seems she prefers to sleep in it. The only thing is that the small latch that keeps the doors closed is not very secure. She quickly learned to just hit him with her paw and he immediately slipped off and she came. Keep in mind that she's quite a small kitten and with the little strength she has had no problem opening it so we had to get a clip to hold it securely. Apart from that we really love it.
