little boys and dress pants don't usually go together; However, these pants are perfect! My son is rough and his clothes are (to say the least) and these pants rock with their reinforced knees and stain removal quality. Also, it's the only brand I can buy for our very tall, skinny kid at the start of the school year, enough to last the entire school year. They have a lot of well placed fabric so you can trim the length for growth and they have an adjustable waist which some older kids sizes have that other brands don't.
