I had to return the first one for a different size but shipping was fast and exchange was easy. I liked the light

I originally bought the harness from Shine for Dogs, I had to return the first harness in a different size but the shipping was fast and the exchange was easy. I liked the light on the harness, I bought a Lime so it's very bright and the charge lasts a long time (charges pretty quickly too) but the power adapter that sits on the dog's shoulders was poor quality and caught quite a bit fast to fall apart. The adjustable strap that goes under the dog is made of a very slippery material, so it needs constant adjustment. I didn't want to sew it in place as sometimes I put my dog's coat on for extended play in the snow and sometimes I need to be able to enlarge the harness to accommodate this. Also, the harness never stayed in the middle of my dog's shoulders, it always slid down the side where the leash pulled, which meant I had to keep adjusting it during walks, which was very annoying. I've finally found a great harness that fits my skinny dogs (Ultra Dog is great) but I still need good light when my dog walks after dark in my unfenced yard (love it from my window watching), and just in case he tries to make a friend of a new neighbor without asking for a way out of the yard, cars can see him so as not to run him over), and I didn't want to that the dog is happy to put a harness on him every time he has to go outside after dark. So I bought a collar instead and I love it! In fact, the entire collar is made up of good harness components with no poor quality elements. It's just as super bright as the pendant because I have the same lime option. I chose medium because I measured my dog's neck at 16 inches and he likes his collar loose because he never chokes on anything when over-excited. I noticed this when trying to adjust the collar to 16-17 inches. To get something that would "normally" fit in a collar I wouldn't be able to do this as there is a piece at the end of the fiber that can't be bent so the adjuster on the collar won't adjust can be approx. 1 1/2" collar (needs to be adjusted either before or after the die-hard attachment.) Actually, this only applies to those who need to adjust the collar to 16-17 inches. If you can be more or less than that This works a lot better for my dog and I because she can wear a collar all the time and all he needs to do is turn on the light when he goes outside after dark, I just have to charge it about once every few weeks Hour and it's no bigger or thicker than your average well made dog collar I would recommend it to anyone I know with a dog.
