Review on πŸš™ Ultimate Car Door Protector: Wall Corner Guard, Collision-Avoidance, Waterproof Foam, 1-Pack by Sean Burnett

Soft stop for your door, lasts a long time.

I just bought a 2018 Hyundai Tuscon and like any new car you're starting to get paranoid about the dents and such. My previous car and the garage wall were no strangers so I got this to protect my new car's doors. Strange on the Tucson, the front doors hit the wall in two different places at the same time, and the back doors only hit in one place, but higher than the front doors (and I sometimes park front or back first), so I ended up with three stripes, two for the front and one (which I cut off slightly) for the higher tailgate (see photos). Wall. It's soft to absorb shock and works well. I'm taking off a star because I'm not sure how long it lasts. I got it not long ago and I've already noticed some cracks/holes in the foam. doesn't seem to make it any less effective, but not sure how well it will hold up in the long run? [Shrug] One Year After Editing: Let's come back to this review a year later. I'm happy to report that my initial concerns about durability don't seem to be an issue. While the padding seemed to retain a slight dent from repeated impacts, it still does its job of preventing damage to the door or wall. 1 year of daily use, I haven't noticed any problems and I don't mind slamming my car door against the garage wall because I have this protective strip everywhere I need it and it does a great job of protecting against damage. If I had to protect another garage wall I would buy this product again. One of the best investments in my car!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Good for the most part, but...
