The last brush I had was advertised as having wire bristles but my racquets scratched so badly I had to order new ones. With this brush, although I've been hesitant to use it, my racquets don't scratch at all. The bristles on this brush don't bend when I use them, they really get into every crevice and clean out all the dirt in my racquets. I had to get some of my clubs wet, especially the wedge, because the mud was very caked. I left them in warm soapy water for about 5 minutes, used this brush and brushed off the old stuck dirt. When it came to cleaning the brush, I filled it up with new warm soapy water, swung it around for a few minutes and everything was clean. Have hung it out to dry in my garage and I haven't seen any rust or damage to the brush or my clubs yet. The best part is that the poke pops out so I don't have to worry about cutting myself when I have it in my pocket.
