fits perfectly. Too bad they didn't have a size 5.5. at least until spring lasts. we are in california and will use the school days to hike when it gets wet and rainy. good boot, inside very soft interesting material, absorbs sweat while keeping warm. it is not thick or fluffy inside. The tread on the bottom is amazing, the boots are light weight so my 8 year old boy can still run fast and move around in them easily. I like the top hooks for easy on and off. So use the last few holes, then make a big loop, then go right to left and hook the laces. This is a great trick for kids to quickly get out of their boots with this type of buckle. I love her. Nice color and very good fabric. I mean almost anything is better than our Keehn boots, shoes. Wow
