I love running to the music, but when I'm carrying a big phone in my hand, it can look crooked. My iPhone 8 plus fits into this small package, even with the case and base as well as lip balm and keys. Inside the backpack is a third ID pocket. I will note that the water bottle holder takes up a little less than a regular water bottle (e.g. a bottle with running water), but it can also be used to store a pair of sunglasses. I wear my backpack backwards and hardly feel it while running. I just wish the strap was a little tighter. I'm 5ft 4" (5ft 4") athletic build and wear it in tight spaces - it's fine but may not be for the very petite people. But it was a great purchase and I'm glad to finally be able to walk while my hands are free.
