I decided to try ashwagandha as a workout supplement/testosterone booster and since I'm trying to grow a beard I figured I could absorb it right through my skin. too strong, had to reduce dose to once a week. Doesn't affect acne too much (should be anti-inflammatory, but increased hormone levels might negate any benefit), my mood lifted very noticeably after 2 weeks (but after 2 months my mood and stress levels were back to their normal lows), pushed me several times initially on the day to workout, grew my beard a bit thicker and grew 1 single hair between my mustache and beard but ended up growing hair on my feet and ankles. Would have given 4 stars but went skin and bone to skin and bone with a chest with no significant increase in strength (an extra rep or 2 maybe but the size is noticeable and my chest is now visible in a tight shirt). It didn't really feel like a cosmetic product to me, but it gave me exactly what I wanted as a topical testosterone booster. May have different effects if you are a woman and produce estrogen instead.
