The lights on our Yamaha golf cart suddenly stopped working. After checking the main fuse for 10 amps, I decided it was either a short or the light switch had failed. Our switch mounts on the driver's side of the front cup holder. You simply pop out part of the cup holder (use a small flathead screwdriver to do this. You should then be able to access the back of the switch. Pay attention to how the wires are attached before you pull them off. You then simply unscrew the plastic nut off the back of the switch and you can pull the switch out of the front of the plastic part. Remove the new plastic nut on the new switch, put the switch back in place and secure the switch by installing the plastic nut on the back of the switch. (Please note (Note that the little red light on the switch should be at the top of the switch bezel.) Connect the wires, put the cup holder back in. Turn on the switch and hopefully this will solve your lighting problem.
