I have a 2009 Aston Martin DB9. When I wanted to put new tires on the car I thought it would be worth changing the TPMS sensors (the batteries got old). The problem is that Aston SmarTire used TPMS. These sensors have a serial number that matches the vehicle's TPMS receiver. To replace the sensors you will need to take the car to an Aston Martin dealership and reprogram the receiver. $$$. I bought this Autel TS508. He was able to read the sensor in the wheel (it was a bit of work as the SmarTire is activated by depressurization or driving and then sends a signal every 15 minutes) and then cloned a new Autel TPMS sensor. The Aston receiver reads the cloned Autel sensor as if it were the real thing. It has been very valuable to me and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to read/clone TPMS sensors.
