Review on 🌬️ Marmot Trestles 15° Women's Cold Weather Mummy Sleeping Bag by Alex Romero

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Warms and compresses well in a compression bag.

I ordered this sleeping bag in LONG. I'm female, 5'6 and weigh 217 pounds. I booked for a long time because I wanted more legroom. I'm glad I did. I can't imagine if I ordered a normal one. In my opinion, the sleeping bag fits snugly. I couldn't bend my legs much and had a hard time turning over BUT this sleeping bag kept me warm in the low 40's going down to the low 30's with constant showers and wind. It literally rained all night. I'm not a cold person so maybe this helped keep my body warm. I was wearing a very heavy mink. I would highly recommend the sleeping bag liner and duvet. And also a sleeping pad (which I didn't have). However, I did spread a heat-reflecting tarp on the bottom of the tent. It was pretty cold in the tent but my feet never got cold. I woke up several times because the blanket was removed from me and moved to the side, not covering me at all and I was still warm. I only slept in a big t-shirt! I hate socks and I hate pants. Never woke up shaking! I highly recommend this sleeping bag. I'm telling you, the inside of this sleeper is polyester. What seems cold, but warms in the end! It has no fleece or cotton lining. Please pack a sheet or sleeping bag liner. If you are a cold person, be sure to bring appropriate sleepwear! If you don't want to feel restricted I wouldn't recommend this mummy style sleeping bag. Perhaps a rectangular sleeping bag is best because it gives you more freedom of movement.
