I always test the product without buying more. But I bought one to see my wife who has Alzheimer's. I put it in the bedroom as she gets up at night and wanders around. Motion detection will tell me she's up and wandering around. I have nurses to look after her while I'm out of town and I can let her know she's up. I like that I can rotate the camera. Night vision works well, but if you rotate the camera too low, everything turns white and blurry. I'm assuming the infrared light is hitting the surface the camera is on, I don't know. I didn't mount any of them, I just put them on the shelves. The camera does not support 5G. You must have a 2.4G phone but it still works fine. It was easy to set up. The volume is not as loud as the last camera I had. I can hardly hear conversations.
