For months I've been dealing with this horrible waxy grease in my hair. I was comparing it to too much conditioner or maybe not washing out the product completely. So I would rinse and brush extra to remove the buildup. Nothing worked. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and this extension hasn't really helped maintain healthy hair habits. My stylist recommended a clarifying shampoo, and after reading reviews of the best color-treated hair brands, I bought it. The results are phenomenal. Hair becomes lighter, cleaner and softer. I washed it yesterday afternoon and today I have no lube! My hair still looks so fresh. I never knew I needed this in my life but I'm so lucky I have it. I think a wash a week will do as it is quite dry. I would particularly recommend using a revitalizing moisturizing conditioner afterwards. My particular regimen: oil on dry hair or Olaplex 3, rinse, clarifying shampoo (worked well), rinse, leave in Olaplex 5 conditioner for 3 minutes, rinse, then conditioner for 10 days + M-Label anti-aging hair. Oil. I let my hair air dry and then blow dry it. I definitely recommend it to everyone!
