I bought this nifty gauge to check the pressure on my truck tires and air springs I installed. Airbags require a minimum inflation pressure of 5psi when not being pulled/carried. This gauge has a range of "0-100psi" printed directly on the face of the gauge. To my surprise, the gauge didn't register any pressure when the bags were at 5psi (tested with my old and trusty Accutire auto-compressor gauge, which unfortunately is no longer made). Pressure, but that's not what the technical data of the device says! The deflation function also turned out to be less useful than expected. You will not get updated readings when you deflate. Instead, you must remove/reset the sensor to get a different reading. This appeared to prevent pressure control during deflation. This could be due to the PSI being closer to the lower end of the range (be it 5 or 0 PSI, who knows?).
