This is a strange tube! They are really light and compact. The orange color is pretty cool. When it comes to installation, the madness comes out. The hose does not expand much when air is added. It's a plastic feel and doesn't give much. None of this actually affects the installation. The trip is fine. I usually use latex tubing. These tubes don't ride as smoothly and appear to have a little more drag (which is all anecdotal). They are lighter but the difference is not as noticeable as when switching from butyl to latex. They hold their breath very well! I drive around 60-70psi. After a few days almost no air comes out. This is a nice surprise, especially when compared to latex bladders (which deflate quickly). After more than 1000 km I had no flat tire. I ordered special patches for the pipes so when I get a flat I can patch them. Are they $30+ each? This is a difficult question. If they last longer than a season, then yes. If they go bad before then, no. Latex tubing is usually around $20 and might last a season, so it's small compared to them.
