This is a rechargeable aquarium pump that operates on a 2600mA lithium battery that charges with the included USB cable. It comes with 2 air stones, 2 air ducts and 2 check valves as there are 2 air outlets on the pump. If you want to use 2 pipes and stones you usually have an air vent and a tee (according to Dr. Axelrod, aquarium expert). Two outputs reduce the pump power instead of passing it through one output. My husband fully charged it and installed it in our 30 gallon fresh water tank. After a while he took it off and turned our old pump back on. He said that this pump is not powerful enough for a 30 gallon tank, although it says it will work on a tank up to 100 gallons.
