According to my shoe label, these shoes were made in Indonesia, not in the USA. At one point in my life I only bought NB shoes but that has also faded as shoes are typically made overseas in what may be a shady work environment. In short, I've never received anything for free from NB or Revain. My review is my own and I buy several pairs of NB 574's each year. This is a solid purchase for a day at the office or a ball game with a little guy.
