Let me start by saying that I have ordered many sets of these lights from Cougar Motor and have installed them on all my cars and my family's cars. I bought 3 kits just for the holidays and I have about 5 other cars that I have installed them in and I have installed other brands as that is my business. I want to say that installing lamps in the headlights is not always easy. Sometimes you need to remove bumpers, grilles, and headlight assemblies. This is the design of the car manufacturers, not the headlight bulb manufacturers. This is the first lamp I've had a problem with. But with the design I was able to fix them. Weakened soldering to the red lead wire. The technician soldering or watching the machine solder requires more contact time with the solder. It took very little effort to remove and the soldered wire was not fully filled or not laying flat on the contact. That being said I was able to service it instead of putting it in an insulated epoxy cap. And they're just as good as everyone else. My factory headlight alignment was done and they line up well as I have non-projector headlights. Although they do look good in the lenses of the projectors in my mom's car. All aftermarket lamps need to be adjusted. Once again I appreciate a good looking lamp that not only impresses in form but also in function. The oldest set I have is about 3 years old.
